Neopets - Faeries of Neopia

As you well know, there are faeries all over Neopia, but not all of them don't live in bottles. Some of them actually live places and help (or hinder) people. Here is a list of all the famous faeries in Neopia.

Psellia is an air faerie first seen in the Battle for Meridell plot against Lord Kass. When Lord Kass threw Jeran off the side of the Citadel, Psellia appeared and saved his life. She hasn’t been heard from since. Psellia is also the Dreamer. She is the guardian of the air and skies of Altador.

Eithne is an evil fire faerie seen in the Mystery Island Mystery plot. She posed as a faerie sent by Queen Fyora to help keep people away from the volcano, while she actually was trying to release the giant moltenore inside. The last we’ve heard about her is that she was trapped inside the volcano with the moltenore.

Illusen lives in Meridell giving quests and living her life away from Faerieland and all those dreadful dark faeries. She gathers random items for her quests and bestows gifts on the people who serve her well in her endless battle against her evil twin who inhabits the dark cloud off the side of Faerieland.

The Soup Faerie is a very kind faerie who opens her heart and kitchen to the poorest of Neopians. She can be found in her soup kitchen feeding soups to the needy in Neopia. If she’s not in her soup kitchen, you can be sure to find her in the pound helping to care for the sick pets left alone there.

Nereid is the elusive water faerie guardian of the newly-discovered Maraqua. She hadn’t been seen all throughout the entire Curse of Maraqua plot to help drive away the pirates, but there are Mystery Island sailors coming back home who claim to have heard a soft voice singing over the waves of the sea.

Jhudora lives in a dark cloud off the side of Faerieland all alone. The only people you see coming in and out are the people who do her quests. She has steadily collected items via her quests for as long as anybody can remember and has quietly employed them to try and bring chaos to Neopia but is always stopped by her meddling twin sister.

The Negg Faerie is a stylish faerie living in the Ice Caves. She works the Neggery where Neopians come to trade many small neggs (sponsored by the Negg Faerie’s biggest supplier: the Snowager). It may be a bit of a trek towards the Ice Caves to meet this faerie but if you do, you will be well rewarded.

As the faerie guardian of the lost desert, Nuria is the protector of the shifting sands and dunes. She was absent during the Lost Desert plot where Razul almost destroyed the Desert. No one has seen or heard anything from her except for tales from the Desert Scarabs of seeing a faint glow among the desert sands.

In a fountain very similar to the healing springs, a water faerie sits. If you go there without doing her quest, she tells you the magic is gone, but once she has asked you to do one of her quests, and you have supplied the goods needed, the Fountain Faerie will let you paint your pet any color available at all.

Although Altador’s eternal light had been temporarily extinguished, a small part of it burnt on in Siyana. She had fled the darkness of Altador and took refuge someplace else. Siyana is the guardian of Altador’s never-ending light. As such, she was probably the first to recover from the spell set on Altador.

The Dark Faerie Sisters: Vanity, Spite and Malice, are the most evil critters you will ever find around the Haunted Woods and Neopia. Vanity, as the name would suggest, doesn’t ever go anywhere without her magic mirror. Spite, will always get back at you no matter what. Malice, she’s just plain mean in general. This is a trio you don’t want to run into.

The Space Faerie is a faerie that lives among the stars. She has only been seen once, when Dr. Sloth and the Space Station tried to take over Neopia. She will only come down in case of the utmost emergency, preferring to spend her time in the vast and endless reaches of Neopian space.

The Battle Faerie is always found at the battledome. Her list of challengers never ends, along with the list of people she has beaten. She looks forward to the day when a worthy challenger shall finally defeat her in the battledome.

The Drenched are three faeries who reside in the Ruins of Maraqua. During the Curse of Maraqua plot, they kidnapped Jacques and kept him in their underwater cave. They were defeated in battle by Isca, Garin and Goregas. They have not been heard of since but there have been mysterious disappearances in Maraqua.

Jhuidah is the faerie who watches over Mystery Island. She stays at the Cooking Pot unless she is shrunk and put in a fishbowl like in the Mystery Island mystery. She also watches over the Trading Post and in her absence, both the Trading Post and the Cooking Pot don’t quite work properly.

Taelia is a frosty faerie who lives in the harsh regions of Terror Mountain. Commonly referred to as the Snow Faerie, she also gives out quests to those who ask, although the purpose of her quests are currently unknown. In the Hannah and the Ice Caves plot she was frozen in a block of ice by Valin the Quick, rendering her immobile and thus of no help during the plot.

The Darkest Faerie is the most evil faerie in the history of Neopia. A thousand years ago Fyora imprisoned her in a tomb of stone in the ruins of Maraqua. She was trapped down there for a thousand years and unfortunately for Fyora, those thousand years are now up.

The Healing Springs Faerie sits on her fountain outside the faerie city helping pets who come and go. Sometimes she only bestows three hit points, sometimes she heals your pet completely, sometimes she bloats them. Every time she does her best.

The Library Faerie stays in the Faerie Library up in Faerieland and spends her time writing crossword puzzles. If you go and complete her puzzles once a day you can win up to 600 neopoints! Although if you win the 600, don’t celebrate very loudly, it is a library.

This faerie looks sad because she is. She’s depressed. The Grey Faerie wanders Neopia endlessly searching for her powers. Somehow she lost her powers and her wings and can’t find them again, but one day, she just might get her powers back…

The Happiness Faerie has never been seen but it is said she prances around giving flowers to young Neopets, spreading smiles wherever she goes. Please disregard any comments about a resemblance to Sloth...

There are rumors that around the rubbish dump, a very un-attractive faerie hides. The Dung Faerie has never been seen. The only reason we believe she exists is because she was always on the rubbish dump donor list when it existed.

The Tooth Faerie is a unique type of Faerie. She spends her days whizzing around Neopia giving people Neopoints when they lose their teeth.

Ember is a unique faerie when you think about it. Most faeries cast spells, bless pets, help others, and get people to do quests for them. Ember, however, doesn't do any of that and considers it all boring. The only thing that she wants to do is play her favorite game, Gormball! Nothing will keep her from doing what she loves, not even the constent teasing from other faeries. Not only does she love the game, but she is really good to. She was the Gormball Champion in Year 7!

Fyora, the Faerie Queen, is the most powerful faerie of all. She lives in her hidden tower where only the most elite weapons are found… for a price. Fyora doesn’t like to change the course of things happening in the worlds of Neopia. She prefers to watch events unfold and see which Neopians can rise to the challenge and be heroes.
