Installing Fonts in Mac OS XThe first step is to download a font. A great place to find fonts is dafont.com. Once you've found the font you want and downloaded it, the font archive will most likely be on your desktop unless of course, you've changed your default settings, in which case you should know where to find your downloaded files.
Navigate to your Fonts folder. Hard Drive > Library > Fonts.
