To complete the Maze from chapter 5, read through the pages of the 6th installment of the comic. Then return to the Maze by once again clicking on the last frame of the 5th chapter. In the inventory you will now find the mysterious Clam Shell we discovered while tearing the Maze apart for chapter 5. As with the other items for repairing the ship, click on the Clam Shell, then click on the ship itself.
Good job! The ship now looks seaworthy enough for a voyage home. Better hurry and get on board. You want to escape this place before those Petpetpets get to you... Part 6 of the Journey to the Lost Isle adventure also introduces another Battledome opponent, the Petpetpet Horde. The Petpetpet Horde starts with a difficulty of 235 leaving inexperienced pets in the dust, while those with high levels are now cheering. The well trained and equipped pet will be the only one to withstand the brutal treatment of this horde. And with his gain of 23 HP every battle, it doesn't take the horde long to overpower stronger pets. Pets with higher HP will want to battle the Petpetpet Horde until his HP rise so much they can no longer win. Playing with my level 6 pet with 183 HP, I was able to defeat him only one time. Though I tried to freeze him, it was not successful. However the Blue Scorchstone once again saved the day. Using the 17 LB Trout, Curved Golden Staff, Halo of Devilpuss, Thumbert's Cane and Scarab Ring in various combinations enabled me to win the battle, but only because he failed to use weapons on subsequent attacks. It may have been a glitch however, since the next attempt to defeat him, the weapons were out in full force. Weapons used by the Petpetpet Horde include Fireball Staff, Jade Scorchstone, Thyora Tears, Petpetpet Venom, Sword of the Dead and Poisonous Petpetpet Quill. The Neopet's Team has once again disabled the use of Sticky Hands for the duration of the plot. If you are experiencing lag in the Battledome try using your back button rather than going through all the "YOU WON!" pages. ![]() As in the past, no one can be sure there is an actual benefit to battling any opponent more than once. However, keep in mind that with the Haunted Woods Plot points were awarded even for Battledome defeats. Credit: This guide was written exclusively for NeoLodge.com by Georgie.
