Despite being categorized as a game, it’s much different. For one, it generally isn’t something that is completed in one day. There are 6 different treasure maps that can be completed, and each map is made up of 9 different pieces. The 6 different maps are: Original, Space, Spooky, Underwater, Secret Laboratory, and Petpet Laboratory. Each map rewards a prize to the person who completes the map. Each prize differs according to the map that was completed. The Petpet Laboratory however, can only be unlocked and the prize awarded, if the user has access to the Secret Laboratory.

Treasure Map pieces can be gained in two ways. The first way is through a random event. The second way, is through purchasing a map from a player shop, the auction house, or the trading post. Treasure Map pieces are not sold in regular shops.

 The different map pieces and prizes for completion are as follows:
