There is only one Mayor of Neovia, and he wants to fight every last Neopet.

Battledomers were be pleased to find their skills once more needed for rescuing Gilly and Bruno. This time the Mayor of Neovia was ready to meet you in the Stone Dome. All you needed do to meet Mayor Thumburt was pay a visit to his humble town of Neovia.

He was elected to be mayor of the town,
but who ever really wants to be just
mayor?

Mayor Thumburt was no pushover, however. With a difficulty of 1000 and initial HP of 10,000 many pets were cast aside until his HP became low enough to weaken him and push him to his ultimate downfall. Although those battledomers who care about their record stayed away while Thumburt was at his strongest, many pets were brave enough to face this fearsome foe.

The Neopet Team did not disappoint when it came to leaving a clue to the question of future opponents for this plot. If the past record for difficulty hold true this time, look for the next opponents to have difficulties of 10,000 and 100,00 respectively.

The Mayor has been defeated! It was easy. Almost too easy...

Sure enough, after not much time, the Mayor is back.

Oh no! The Mayor has grown stronger, and more aggressive!

Hoping to score more plot points, the fearless, yet weak Neopets face the Mayor again. This time his difficulty and HP are 100,000.

It will take longer this time to wear him down, but eventually the fine, faithful weaker pets will take him to task once again, until the better equipped players feel safe enough to challenge him. You are welcome!

After approximately 20 hours of battling the Mayor was defeated once again. And once again, he came made a fantastic comeback.

Uh-oh... it looks like the Mayor isn't quite done for after all! Now he's HUGE

For this round, hopefully the last round, the Mayor again has a difficulty of 100000, but his HP started at a cool million. Yet again the frailer pets will weaken him until he can be defeated, though it will take substantially longer this time.

At approximately noon NST on Monday November 20, the Mayor was defeated by xmusic_is_lifex. I am sure she would like to thank everyone who made this defeat possible.
