1. Return to the Caretaker to examine his books.

You enter the strange house. Inside are rows of shelves stuffed with hundreds of books.

They all seem to be records about deaths in the Haunted Woods. The Brain Tree would love this place!


	The Caretaker Again, I can't thank you enough for returning my books. If you'd like to peruse them, please feel free.


	Sophie Well, let's dig in. We've got a lot of graveyards to search.
Bruno It's going to take us a long time to dig up that many graves.
	Sophie Correction: It's going to take you a long time.
Bruno Well what are you going to be doing?
	Sophie I'll be mixing up a potion that we can use to test each bone. If it belongs to the Spirit of Slumber, it'll glow.
Gilly Can I help?
	Sophie Well, sure. Someone's gonna have to fetch potion ingredients for me.

2. Clicking on a Graveyard on the list brings you to Sophie who is busy mixing potions. Here you are given 2 choices. You may either dig graves or test bones. If you wish to dig graves, skip to the Digging Graves section. If you wish to test bones continue on through the Testing Bones section.

NOTE: IF THE GRAVEYARD YOU TRY TO TEST HAS ALREADY BEEN DUG UP OR THERE ARE NO BONES TO TEST YOU CAN ONLY GET OUT THE WAY YOU GOT IN.

TESTING BONES:

IF YOU WOULD RATHER DIG GRAVES THAN TEST BONES DO NOT DO THIS PART.

If you are going to get Sophie a potion, we suggest you open two tabs or two windows and keep the shack on one and Sophie on the other. This will help you move more quickly.

1. At this point, Sophie can say one of two things.
If she says:

"We need to make more potion! I need you to go to my shack and get an ingredient. Think you can handle that?"

Continue on with this step.

If she says:

"I think we've got enough testing potion for now. Go dig up some graves, or test some bones."

Skip to step 6.

2. Click on "Sure I can handle it. Which ingredient?" to see which ingredient you must find.

3. Go to Sophie's Shack and click on the image to enter.

4. Click on the ingredient that you seek.

You take a vial of the potion ingredient from Sophie's stock. You better get it back to her right away!

5. Take the vial back to Sophie. You can now either continue on and test bones or dig graves instead.

6. To continue on and test bones click on Take Potion.

You successfully take a vial of testing potion. Now go find some bones to test!

If you take a potion you may only test bones. If you do not, you may only dig.

7. Search for a grave that has bones. Click on the tombstone to enter the site. Only one player may test bones at a time. If the bones are already being tested at that site you can wait for the other player to leave, or you can search for another site to test.

8. A certain amount of potion needs to be dropped on the bone to test it. You can guess wildly, or use our Drop Calculator to see how many drops are needed. The weight and volume of the bones are different for every user.

9. If the right amount of potion has been dropped onto the bone you will recieve a neopoint prize. If the wrong amount of potion is dropped onto the bone it will explode. If at any point you wish to stop testing bones, exit the graveyard and click on return potion.

DIGGING GRAVES:

1. Click on Enter Graveyard. Find a grave that has not been completely dug up yet. It takes 4 people to dig a grave. You can find a spot and wait for others to join you, or you can find a grave and join other diggers. Be aware that if you give up on digging, Sophie will put you in a few minutes of timeout.

Plots that have no dirt showing are not dug yet and may be waiting for another person to start. Plots that have just a small pile of dirt have been started already. Plots that have an empty hole are completed. Plots that show bones need tested.

2. When you have found a graveyard with 3 other people waiting to dig with you, the digging will commence. Be sure to only click on dig when the red box is around your neopet. If it is not, click on wait until it is. If you dig when it is not your turn you will get kicked out.

For extra fun, try entertaining your fellow gravediggers with this method. Open a separate window or tab and set it to your Set Active Pet page. When it is not your turn to dig, change your pet. This is a great way to get your pets seen by lots of players. I have tried this and recieved many NeoMails from people who enjoyed the show.
