1. Once again, to the Gypsy Camp in the Haunted Woods we go.
2. Follow the path past the edge of the camp to return to Neovia and Sophie's Shack . ![]()
3. Click on the shack to enter. Recipe 1 4. Click OPEN BASIC INGREDIENTS CABINET. Inside you find find 3 Basic Ingredients, a Workbench area, a Composites area and a Recipe. ![]() ![]() 5. Choose any one ingredient and take 5 grams of it. Select to either Burn, Crush, Soak or Desiccate it. The lever must be raised to within 5 below, or 5 above the target number. In the image above, the target is 68 so a number between 63 and 73 is needed. Each of the processes takes a different amount of time to accomplish. Clicking on the Wait button will not show the progress the ingredient is making to reach the level of Enchantment. Click Stop to see how much you have progressed, then choose a different process and continue. You may use each process more than once. If your progress seems to come to a standstill and you haven't reached the target range, try doing the opposite of the action you were last doing, rather than soaking try burning. These steps take a good bit of time, so be patient. If you go over the maximum level, you will have to choose to Discard the ingredient and start over. ![]() 6. When your ingredient has reached the proper range of Enchantment, click Create New Composite. Recipe 2 8. Click Try a different recipe and open the ingredient cabinet again. There will now be a fourth ingredient available to use and a recipe which requires three new properties may be added, Conjuring, Divination, and Power.
9. You can only take 10 grams of any ingredient however, you can also take some of each of them and work on them at the same time. Each ingredient will gain both Conjuring and Power properties, though not at the same rate. Be sure to watch both the number of grams you need of each property, as well as the strength of each property. This is where you may need to split the ingredients to create the proper proportions.
BEFORE you throw it all into the pot, you must click Combine so the ingredients will add together. Click on one ingredient and it will move to the bottom of the page and begin to make the composite. Then click on the image of the bowl to make the arrow appear under it. A Combine button will appear on the other ingredients. The properties of the ingredient will then average out, not add together. The grams of the ingredients add together, so 10 grams and 10 grams will still make 20 grams. Make the ingredients for Composite 2 in the same way as the first, then throw it all in the pot. ![]() The easiest way to do this step is to take the exact number of grams you need from the ingredients. Then manipulate each of them to reach the desired level for your potion. If your levels seem to stop rising, refresh the page during the process. You may get a message telling you the ingredient will not burn anymore, or crush anymore, etc. If this happens you need to discard the ingredients and start again. Sometimes you will get the level lowered rather than raised. Just keep working with it. Composite #1: Quantity: 16 grams Relevant property: Conjuring Target value: +42 +/- 5 With this recipe, I would take 10 grams of one item and 9 of another. Then I can work with each of the ingredients to reach level 42 in Conjuring. This way, when the ingredients are combined, they will still be withing the allowable range of Conjuring. If the grams of one ingredient reaches a level that is too high, then the other ingredient must make the level correct by averaging it when combined. So if my Bumroot reaches level 60 Conjuring, I must add another ingredient with Conjuring level at about 20. 60 + 20 = 80 and 80 / 2 = 40, which is an allowable level. So you need 2 total composite to throw in the cauldron to create the potion. The level number must match for each item separately. If I need 42 Conjuring and 89 Power, I need 2 different Composites, each matching one or the other of the requirements. It doesn't matter if the Composite for Conjuring has a high level for Power, it will not be added when I throw it in the pot. PLUS CREATE ![]() ![]()

Recipe 3 10. Two more ingredients are added to the Cabinet and 2 new Composites are asked for. The first Composite asks for Spectral Essence. To create Spectral Essence for this round: Bloodfern Loam - 20 grams - Soak and Crush maximum amount of time Leafy Slorgblossom - 5 grams - Soak, Crush and Desiccate the maximum amount of time ![]() Again, with one of the ingredients choose to Create New Composite, then click on the bowl and click to combined the other ingredients. ![]() Spectral Essence Quantity: 25 grams
This time, there are 5 ingredients to choose from. However, you may use only 3 grams of each to create the Composite, and the variance for the potency is only + or - 3. So if the recipe calls for 89, the variance is 86 - 92. Also new in this round is the need to create 2 different properties of the same gram weight with varying potency. A recipe for this round will look like this: Quantity: 12 grams Relevant property: Conjuring Target value: +82 +/- 3 Relevant property: Power Target value: +80 +/- 3 So for this recipe, I must use 3 grams of 4 different ingredients and reach a target value for both Conjuring and Power. This time the processing will effect all 4 properties; Conjuring, Divination, Enchantment and Power, but not at the same rate. Burning may increase Conjuring very rapidly while decreasing Divination and not effecting Enchantment and Power at all. It is best to work with one ingredient at a time. Choose 3 grams of an ingredient and start processing it. Click the Wait button until you get the message telling you that the process can not be done anymore. Then move on to the next process and do the same until you reach your target ranges for the needed properties. Then start over with 3 grams of another ingredient and work in the same way. When you have the needed gram weight and have raised the properties click Create a New Composite then click on the bowl and choose Combine to add the ingredients. Remember, this time there are 4 ingredients so the properties will be divided by 4 to find the average property value. For more information on creating this recipe, I recommend this Petpage. Babaa Wool – 1 gram: C/D: burn, crush C/E: burn, soak C/P: crush, soak D/E: burn, desiccate D/P: crush, desiccate E/P: soak, desiccate Other Ingredients – 1 gram each: C/D: Madvine Root (burn), Nova Essence (crush) C/E: Madvine Root (crush), Nova Essence (desiccate) C/P: Madvine Root (desiccate), Nova Essence (soak) D/E: Madvine Root (soak), Nova Essence (crush) D/P: Madvine Root (soak), Nova Essence (burn) E/P: Madvine Root (burn), Nova Essence (desiccate) Next, get 1 gram of Jurpleberries, and choose the process for the properties you need. Conjuring: crush Divination: soak Enchantment: burn Power: desiccate That gives a total of 1500 to the two properties you need.
