Help! An Aisha named Eamann is at his wit's end! All of his Petpets are under attack from tiny invaders, hordes of pesky Petpetpets! Special collars and baths didn't help at all, so Eamann decided it was time to take matters into his own paws, literally.Itchy Invasion is a fast paced action game requiring the player to put themselves the position of Eamann, who is trying to protect his petpets from an invasion of petpetpet. Eamann downsizes in order to get to the root of the problem and attack the little critters right where they have set up a new home, the fur of Eamann's petpets. Use the mouse to aim and left click to fire Eamann's Slime Gun. Hunt down the petpetpets and blast away to progress through each of the six levels.
As the game begins, you need to be aware of several things on the screen. Hunt through the fur to track down and blast the petpetpets. Do not be fooled into thinking the dander at the bottom of some fur is a petpetpet!
At the top of the screen is the green Pest-B-Gone meter. This is the ammuntion used by the Slime Gun and rapidly depletes. Refill the gun by shooting the green Robotic petpetpet. If the Slime Gun runs completely out of Pest-B-Gone, the game will end. The bottom of the screen shows the red Itch-O-Meter. If petpetpets are not blasted quickly enough, this meter will fill and the game will end.
There are six levels in Itchy Invasion. Each level takes place in the fur of a different petpet and requires a certain amount of pests to be blasted to complete the level and move on to the next.
Scoring Blasting the petpetpets with Slime-B-Gone will earn points toward a total score. Each is worth a different value and some do not appear until higher levels. There are also two Robotic petpetpets which do not score points but are essential to winning the game. The pink Robotic petpetpets will destroy all the other pest in the vicinity when they are blasted. The green Robotic petpetpets refill the Slime Gun with Pest-B-Gone. Take note that the blue Bumbluz are flying and therefore are higher on the fur than the others, though they just hover and not move around. They are more difficult to blast because of this. Often the crawling pests are close enough together to blast with the same shot. However, there is never more than one flying petpetpet in an area. Aiming for the flying pests requires larger movements and should only be attempted when the red Itch Meter is nearly empty or when trying to get a trophy.
