*KABOOM* *BANG* - Mutant Fuzzles are attacking the Virtupets Space Station!!! You play Zygorax, a third class maintenance worker responsible for waste disposal... but instead of neocola cans and juppie stalks, today you have to dispose of something far far scarier...

Zygorax needs your help to defeat the evil Fuzzles attacking the Virtupets Space Station.

Using the left button on the mouse, blast the evil Fuzzles from the sky. Hop into your X-Scrub 4000 Walker Bot and protect the space station using laser cannons. Other controls, which will come later in the game include the N key to rotate the screen to the left and the B key to rotate the screen to the right. This only works if you have purchased the upgrades

There are eight levels of game play. During each level of play, you are introduced to a different colored Fuzzle, who will require a different amount of shots to be taken. The game is over when the hull integrity drops below zero. To protect the hull integrity you have a different assessment of weapons and other things which will allow you to not only destroy the evil fuzzles, who are flying at you at different speeds, but it will help you ensure the completion of the game.

The game is played as if you are looking through the windshield of a Walker Bot. At the top left hand corner, you will see the distance to the station. The top right hand corner houses your score. The dashboard across the bottom of the screen shows you the amount of each weapon or other items you hold.

The box to the furthest left shows how many stun bombs you have purchased and the number under it, at 0 when you begin play, shows how many stun bombs you have left to use.

Next is Smart bombs. The number under this picture shows you how many smart bombs you have left to use.

After that, shields. This number shows how many shields you have left for your usage.

The panel in the middle shows both hit scores and Virtucreds you have. You'll learn more about Virtucreds later on.

On the right are shown the weapons you hold. All numbers on this side show the level of your weapon. First is the Mega Gun. Aim the mega Gun by using the green site. The higher the level, the more effective the laser will be against the tougher Fuzzles who require more than one shot to eliminate. You can only upgrade your gun to level 6. This means that if you upgrade your gun each time you visit the space station, you will be able to shoot the Fuzzles with one shot. If you fail to upgrade, it will take you more shots.

Next is the hull integrity level. The number under this is extremely important. You can raise this level up to 100. If the hull integrity level gets to zero or below, the game will be over. It is best to stock up on this, once getting to the station.

The last and final box on the furthest right hand side is the Droid Repair box. The number under this box will tell you what level your droid repair is at.

During the game you will not only encounter the mutated Fuzzles, but land mines which will weaken the hull level. To destroy these mines, simply click on them, blasting them away.

Each time you destroy a mutated Fuzzle you will receive a multiplier bonus. Hitting 10 Fuzzles will make the multiplier bonus times three. This does not increase. But the more Fuzzles you hit the higher the bonus will be. The points are not automatically given to you. To collect the bonus, click on the multiplier which pops up on the screen, each time you hit a Fuzzle.

Virtucreds

Virtucreds are like money or neopoints. During the game, you will collect these by blasting away the fuzzles as the make their way towards you. For each hit you will earn the points, which will ultimately be turned into virtucreds. The higher your 'hits' are the more virtucreds you will receive. You will have a chance, between each round, to spend your virtucredsWeapons/Upgrades

As mentioned above there are a series of weapons and upgrades you have in order to assist you in your quest to get rid of the Fuzzles. Here is a break down of each weapon and upgrade

Space Station

Walking to the space station can be tough on anyone, especially when there are mutated Evil Fuzzles out to get you. With each level that passes, you are a different distant from the space station.

Once making it safely to the space station, you now have the chance to upgrade your weapons. This is where the virtucreds come into play. There are seven things you can buy, as mentioned under the weapons/upgrade section, but for a price. Most of the weapons cost a modest amount of virtucreds, but some of them, well... the prices double each time you make it to the station. (The Droid Repair and the Mega Gun) This is why it is important that you hit as many fuzzles as you possibly can without missing.

At the beginning of the game, you do not get a chance to buy anything. You are thrown right into the 1st level with fuzzles charging at you without a care.

These robotic land mines appear in every level. Destroy them before they destroy your hull.
Station One Distance to station 500 meters - Though this sounds so far away, it really isn't. Your battle is with the red Fuzzles, who are the easiest to get rid of. They require one blast with a level one laser cannon.
Station Two Distance 600 meters - This level you will have not only those red Fuzzles from level one, but yellow Fuzzles. These Fuzzles require one blast with a level two cannon. To upgrade to a level two Mega Gun, it will cost you 100 virtucreds.
Station Three Distance 700 meters - Green Fuzzles. These things keep multiplying! To get rid of the green fuzzles, you will need to hit them once with an upgrades level three laser cannon. The cost 150 virtucreds.
Station Four Distance 800 meters - Brown Fuzzles. Shoot these Fuzzles once with a level four mega laser cannon. Cost for the upgrade 200 virtucreds.

Station Five Distance 900 meters - This level has a mixture of every Fuzzle you had to defeat in the previous rounds, along with the blue Fuzzle. To kill this Fuzzle, shoot once with the level five upgraded gun.

Cost for upgrade, 250 virtucreds.

Station Six Distance 1000 meters - Purple Fuzzles are flying at you left and right. What do you do? Use your level six upgraded gun, which will cost you 300 big virtucreds. This is the last time you will be able to use the upgrade, so after completing this level, head back to the space station (which will happen automatically) and load up on hulls (up to 100), Stun bombs, shields and droid repairs! Oh yeah... if you prefer the radar and have not brought it... GET IT!
Station Seven Distance 1100 meters - Grey Fuzzles. Oh these Fuzzles are mean and far from green! Since you aren't allowed to upgrade your gun, it will take two shots to kill off these Fuzzles. Using the stun bombs you purchased and shields, you should be alright. Just shoot and collect those bonuses!. Remember this- Grey needs 2 shots to go away!
Station Eight Distance 1200 meters - The Fuzzles on this level are both purple and those grey Fuzzles. Use the shields and the stun bombs. And remember, if they have blue feet it takes to hits two destroy them.

Tips to Win

  • If sound distracts you, then turn the sound off

  • Remember to collect the multiplier bonuses by clicking the box on the screen. To increase the level of points you get, collect the bonus a couple of seconds BEFORE getting to the station.

  • Do not just randomly click at the fuzzles. This will cost you to lose your multiplier bonus. Aim for the faces or the feet of the fuzzles

  • For some odd reason, playing the game with a smaller screen and a lower quality makes the fuzzles come at you faster. This is both a good and bad thing. If you are not able to move your mouse at a fast pace, play the game with normal quality.

A score of 2,328 is needed in order to get a bronze trophy.
