You are in a very scary lab... in a very scary part of the Haunted Woods... Using the left mouse button, place each atom on the 6x6 playing grid, slowly building up stable compounds. Game Play There are two levels of play: Level 1 and Level 2. It is best to begin the game starting with Level 1. This way, you will gain more points by working your way up the "ladder". There are a total of five atoms in the game. They are: Neopium, Tyrannium, Slothite, Faeryllium and Krawkite. Each completed combination will gain you points, helping you move to the next round.
At the bottom of the playing grid, there is a preview window; this shows the atom which will be used next. To the right of the playing grid, there will be a list of stable and unstable combinations that have been introduced during each round. Use this as a key; it will serve as a reminder of which atoms can be placed near each other and which atoms will cost the game. At the top of the grid, there are listed the amount of points needed, the amount of points earned, and the amount of elements remaining. While some focus should be placed on the amount of points earned and need, do not make this a habit during play. It is best to take a look at those at the start of each level.
Levels Level One In the beginning of the first level, the game will start out with one atom, Neopium, which is green. On this round, placing the Neopium next to another Neopium will gain a single point and start the next round.
Level Two Tyrannium, the blue atom, is introduced. Placing one Tyrannium atom between two Neopium atoms will earn two points. Level Three Unlike the 1st two rounds, where a new atom was introduced, this round introduces a new synthesise. By placing three Tyrannium atoms next to each other, two points are awarded. Level Four There is nothing new introduced in level four. Level Five While still working with Tyrannium, another synthesis is born. This one requires five Tyrannium atoms be placed together. It is best, for this round to place two Tyrannium atoms on one row, skip a row and place two Tyrannium atoms directly under the first two Atoms, then place the final atom between them. Level Six This level introduces Slothite, which is the red atom. It also produces the newest synthesises, a combination of green-red-red-green. This combination is worth 4 points. Now that there are two 4-point combinations, it's should be quick and easy to gain access to the next level. Level Seven Level seven raises the level of difficulty by introducing "unstable" synthesis. Placing four Slothite atoms side by side or near each other, so that they are touching, will create this. Do not build Slothite, or the game will be over. Level Eight Getting tired of gaining two and four points? Level eight introduces a new combination worth more points. By arranging Green-Blue-Green-Blue-Green side by side, a synthesis that is worth 6 points is created.Level Nine This level will test the player's knowledge by requiring the combinations to be made from memory. Remember, placing four Slothite atoms near each other will create an unstable combination, resulting in...
Level Ten This is where Faeryllium is introduced. Using the combination of green-gold-gold-gold-green will earn seven points. Again, creating the unstable synthesis will end the game. Running out of atoms also means game over. Level Eleven Level eleven does not introduce anything new. Gain a score of 50 to move onto the next round. Level Twelve Same as level eleven, but this time a score of 55 is required in order to complete the level. Level Thirteen This level introduces a new synthesis...one that requires great skill to create. It is comprised of seven Slothite. Now, as mentioned before, placing four of these atoms near each other will end the game! To create this, it is safest to make two rows of three Slothite atoms and place a single Slothite atom in the middle of these two rows. Here's the break down of this step: Place a single Slothite atom in the middle of two slothite atoms.
Now, repeat the first step, but this time place it in the middle of the Slothite atoms on the second row.
To finish this off, place one last Slothite atom between the two Slothite atoms on the top row.
This combination is worth 10 points! Level Fourteen This level introduces the fifth and final element, Krawkite, into the mix. Placing two Krawkite atoms together receives one point. Level Fifteen Level fifteen, while challenging, does not introduce anything new. It takes 80 points to finish this level.
Tips to Win
