At last, Bullseye is back!!! You have ten shots to try and hit the bullseye in this medieval game of skill and timing!
Use the up and down arrow keys to move the crossbow, keep the Space Bar down to build up power, and then release it to fire. If you manage to get a bullseye on the last shot, you can keep on firing until you miss!
Lastly, if you get a Bullseye you get a cool power-up to use for the next shot. :) Good luck!

Aim the crossbow at the target using the arrow keys. Hold down the spacebar to power up the arrow and send it flying through the air. Try to hit as close to the center as possible. The closer you are, the more points you get.

It's a good idea to aim the arrow just a little higher than the bullseye. If the target is relatively close, power up with the space bar to about the 4th mark. If it is far, pretty close to the end of the window, power up to the 5th mark.

If you get a bullseye, you get a power up. A power up enables you to earn more points, or makes it easier to hit the bullseye. After making a shot, a small screen comes up that has any available power ups you may have. Click the power up you wish to use, and then press the space bar to advance on.

Types of power ups:

Big {B} - The bullseye of the target slowly gets bigger and then goes back to its normal size, increasing the chance of hitting the center.
Close {C} - The target is closer than usual.
Punchbag {P} - Instead of the target, Punchbag Bob apears with an apple on his head. Aim for the apple, and if you hit it, you recieve 20 points and another power up. If you hit Bob's body you get no points.
Fire {F} - A hoop of fire apears. Shoot your arrow through the hoop. If it hits the target, you will get double the points. Remember that the power bar timing may be different for slower computers if you use this power up.

You can also use any or all of these power ups in combination. For example, you can make the target both bigger and close. Or you can replace the target with Punchbag Bob, make it close, make the apple bigger, and shoot your arrow through the hoop of fire.

Tips to Win

Save all of your powerups until the last round of the game. If you hit the bullseye on your last shot you get an extra shot. Keep shooting until you don’t get at least 10 pts with one shot. Then the game ends.

Use Punchbag Bob and Fire power ups at the same time to score 40 points.

Never release the arrow before the third line. Also, never release the arrow at full power.

Choose full screen to make aiming easier.

Type catapult to gain a free, random power up.

A score of 225 or above will gain you the avatar. A score of 315 or above is generally needed for a trophy.
