Plot Speculation

Another plot, another TCG expansion, more clues to guess for the next Darkest Faerie plot. I, Joey, will be running through each and every card in the Darkest Faerie TCG Expansion that has anything to do with the plot. By the time I'm done writing this article; you should have a pretty good idea of what is going to be happening during the plot. And so we shall begin:

The story takes place in the happy bright land of Altador, which seems to be a Neopian version of Greece. Now, in Altador, there are twelve guardians, each with their own respective constellation, who all protect their areas of Altador.

Above are two of the twelve guardians of Altador. An entire list of the twelve guardians along with their constellations will be written soon.

Ah, our two heroes; Roberta, being Brightvale's resident Rapunzel / Sleeping Beauty, and Tor, being Altador's Jeran / Hercules. Apparently it was no coincidence that they met so they can save the world. Tor will obviously go into many battles, but why is Roberta there?

How can Tor defeat the Darkest Faerie without the appropriate tools?

It seems Roberta has something the Darkest Faerie wants, why otherwise would the Darkest Faerie have the Werelupes  kidnap her? Unfortunately, the Darkest Faerie didnt count on the Tor factor.

These two ancient enemies have a score to settle, and this time, the odds are a little more even. Notice how Fyora is more physically capable in her newest card released with the Darkest Faerie Expansion. There is a possibility that the Darkest Faerie will lose her magic and will then be at Fyora's mercy.

The Darkest Faerie's minions help her to hinder Tor, and let her continue with what's really important.

The Tainted Harris explains this: The evil Faerie's very presence caused the plants and animals around to twist into corrupt new forms. Sounds cheery doesnt it? But its a very convenient way to get slaves. And anyone who can make Skarl turn into a serving boy cant be all bad...

To prove the point of the Tainted Harris, she can also turn innocent little plants into beasts of mass destruction.

These cards show that the Darkest Faerie's presence not only corrupts living beings, but apparently thorns and twisted vines like to follow her about as well. The Tainted Altador card also reveals that one of the twelve betrayed the others. She is most likely the Darkest Faerie, thus bringing justice to King Altador's words.

King Hagan is no dummy. While his brother's land is being conquered in the background, Hagan calls for help. Unfortunately, it appears the Darkest Faerie or some of her minions have already done away with all the help.

This card, aside from being terribly brutal, shows the startling fact that the Darkest Faerie can control elements outside her own.

Bogshot, the small swamp out of Meridell, is experiencing a plague which only Bogberries can cure. But there is a swamp snake on the loose. Kastraliss, the Dark Faerie's servant, is running through the swamp, and it looks like it's up to Sophie, the grumpy resident swamp witch to stop him.

Lastly, I would like to point out that with the Darkest Faerie Expansion, comes a new type of card: Constellations. Each of the twelve guardians have their own constellation. This topic will be looked at more thoroughly in the guide discussing the twelve guardians. Any new information and theories that I deem vaguely possible will be added here until the plot starts. Until then, happy theorizing.
