Be sure to pick up your free gift on the way out the door!

We are aware that there are other clubs in Altador. However, you can not join them even if you have not joined the Astronomy Club. The ONLY club you can actually join at this time is the Astronomy Club.

Please note: Whenever there is a CONTINUE button, you need to click it!

1. Enter the Hall of Heroes

2. Talk to the Janitor in the back of the hall by clicking on him.

3. Push the button beside the Janitor

4. Exit the Hall and go to the quarry

5. Go to the Altador Archives and try to take the book under the table leg

6. Return to the Rock Quarry and get a flat rock: you may need to refresh this page

7. Go to Altadorian Archives and switch out the flat rock for the book underneath the left leg of the table by clicking on it:

8. Read book that's now on the podium: There are 53 pages in total in the book, and all of them except for the first three are blank.

9. Now, go to the Hall of Heroes...

10. Click on the janitor in the back of the hall.

11. Push the button next to the janitor, the janitor should now say: "You know, maybe the gears have just gotten dirty or seized up, it's been so long since the button was used. If there were some way to grease the gears, the button might do something again."

12. You have to click on each of the statues. You must first click on the very top of the image to see the ceiling. Then by clicking on another statue, you will find the oil. It is random, you may have to try them all.

CEILING

OIL

13. Take the oil to the janitor, and grease the button by clicking on it:

You push the button.
Suddenly, gears begin to grind, and the great ceiling above you opens up, admitting much more light to the room!

14. Return to the Archivist. This step is not necessary, but he has something different to say.

15. Then return to the Hall of Heroes and look at the ceiling again. If you connect the dots correctly you can make the constellation for that guardian.

Each statue in the Hall of Heroes has a different constellation on the roof above them. The constellations are found on the cards for the Darkest Faerie gaurdians.

16. Take the stairs: found in two locations

After climbing hundreds of stairs, you find yourself in some kind of dome-shaped room atop the Hall of Heroes

17. If you have done everything correctly, you should be able to join the Astronomy Club.
Hi! We'd be glad to have you in our club!"
The president of the Astronomy Club welcomes you warmly. "Our Astronomy Club is growing by the day!
Apparently we're the only club in Altador that's actually accepting new members at the moment.

Thus ended part one of the plot, but on Friday, March 24th, we found more information!

18. Click the flyer to join the Astronomy Club. Note that the astronomy flyer replaced the Underwater Basket Weaving Flyer:

The Astronomy Club is a place where Neopians can learn all about the cosmos.
Stars, planets, comets, asteroids, constellations, nebulae... they're all out there waiting to be discovered.

The president of the Astronomy Club waves as you enter the astronomy lab. "Hey, thanks for coming! We're really happy you joined the club. In fact, as a new member, we've got a special gift for you..."

E-Z See Telescope
"...your very own telescope! It's just a basic model, but it will let you look up at the stars. You'll just have to find somewhere reasonably high-altitude to use it."

19. Another seemingly pointless clue, but just in case, you'd better go check out what else Finneus, the Archivist has to say:

The archivist says, "Ah, I see you've joined the Astronomy Club. Is there more excitement to be found than in observing the heavens, and mapping the intricate patterns of the cosmos?"

The janitor also has something to say on the subject:

The janitor says, "Hm, so you joined an Astronomy Club, eh? That sounds like fun. I wish I had the time to join a club."

20. Go to the Astronomy Dome atop the hall of heroes and click on the telescope stand.

21. Watch out because your E-Z See telescope will start loading in Flash mode. Once loaded it will look like this:

22. To chart your sky, go to this page and select all and copy. Then go here and paste in your coordinates. Click Submit. This will chart your sky accurately. The sky changes with each new constellation.
