Found in the center of Mystery Island, Techo Mountain is shrouded in mystery. Over the years, the carver of the image seen on the mountain has faded into the unknown and the inhabitants of the island assume it was a Techo who did the carving in his likeness.

After the evil Shaman’s defeat, Neopians decided to throw codestones into the volcano’s caldera to be rid of them. Much to their surprise, the caldera heaved red codestones bearing strange markings back out. After some investigating, it was discovered that these magical stones help your Neopet advance their skills beyond the training offered at the Island Training School. A redemption center was set up at the base of the mountain to help Neopians who found codestones through Random Events, trades, auctions and shops exchange them for the much sought after red codestones.

The volcano can be picky as to what it needs in order to produce a red codestone.

When you visit the redemption center, note the codestones requested which will be selected from the ones pictured above. The type and number of each codestone varies from one user to another but will not change until you have fulfilled that request. In order to get one you need to collect the following codestones:

Once you have the requested codestones, the volcano will produce one of the red codestones.

The volcano produces these Codestones when a selection of regular codestones is thrown in. They are used by Neopians who wish to train their pet in the advanced art of battle at the Secret Ninja Training School once they’ve reached level 250 and can no longer train at the Island Training School.
