At first, Gummy Dice were just a delightful addition to the Roo Island menu. They were imported in huge quantities from the Chocolate Factory to King Roo's kingdom and, almost overnight, became the most requested dessert on the island. That had been their plan all along, though, and at midnight the gummies attacked. The citizens of Roo Island were caught off guard; no matter how many gummies they squished, more kept coming! Clever Roo Islanders soon found that stomping on multiple gummies was much more effective than smushing them one by one. Due to different consistencies in the various gummy flavours, however, the squashing could only be done among groups of the same colour. Join the fight before Roo Island is completely overrun by gummies!

The goal of this puzzle game is to clear the boards of all the gummy dice on each level by connecting or stacking 5 or more of the same color. Each level starts with a different number of dice already placed on the board in varying configurations. Use the A and S keys to rotate the dice and the arrow keys to position the dice. When the dice in the position of your choice, use the space bar to drop them onto the board. A white shadow on the board will show where the dice will be placed.

The player may choose between two keyboard settings. To change the keyboard settings, go to setup, which is on the opening screen.

The picture shows the way that each arrow key will move the gummy dice. In this one the up key will move the gummy dice to the left. The down key will move the dice to the right, the left key will move the dice down and the right key will move the dice up.

With this setting (which seems to be the easiest) the dice move according to the arrows. So the up key will move the dice upwards. So on and so forth.

You can also choose between two gaming modes. The normal mode allows you to play until you lose or decide to quit. Zen mode is more for relaxation. You will not earn any neopoints with this mode.

Scoring

For the number of blocks used, a bonus will be rewarded. At the end of each level, the remaining blocks will be deducted from the score. Stacking the blocks may help, but if the dice are stacked higher than the grid, the alarm will sound, causing the dice to explode. The explosion can be caused by stacking eight blocks. On the higher levels, dice will randomly appear UNDER different stacks of dice. Watch out for this!

As mentioned above, the number of blocks used will gain you a bonus. To move onto the next level, connect the required number of dice. Here's the breakdown of the blocks and bonuses.

Special Blocks

Along with the normal colored blocks that are in the game, there are different blocks that will cause various effects.

Name of Dice

  Image

 Effect

 Rainbow/Morphing

Transform all the cubes in one column to the same color

Bomb

Clears a full column of dice by blowing them up

 Stone Dice

Can not be destroyed unless morphed by the morphing dice, or blown up by the bomb dice

Color Changing

Unlike the rainbow dice, these dice continuously change colors until placed on the board. Once in position, they will act like normal blocks.

Ollie's Dice

This dice acts like the bomb dice but it destroys the dice in an eight block radius.

Block Combinations

There are five combinations of dice that are given. Place these anywhere on the board to make a connection. The dice can come in any color or be combined with special blocks. Remember they can be rotated by using the A or S key.

Level One

Aim for a huge connection bonus using those dice on the outer rim of the board.

Level Two
Usually there are four gummy dice of the same color on the four points of the board and one in the middle of the same color.

Try connecting these, to get rid of them 1st.

Level Three

Start in the middle, then gradually work towards the outer dice.

Level Four

Notice the pattern of the colored dice? There are four in the middle of the same color, which looks like a crossbow

S

Get rid of those four dice first, then work outward like the previous round. Collect a bonus for connecting the outer blocks.

Level Five

Get rid of the taller columns, then delete the lower ones.

Level Six

There are holes on this board. Use those, along with the drop bonuses.

A new color is introduced in this level, don't confuse it with the original red one.

Level Seven

Eliminate the middle squares by breaking them down from the sides.

Level Eight

Notice that there are 14 tall columns. The columns in the front prevent you from seeing the middle blocks. Destroy the blocks in the front first in order to eliminate the other blocks. Usually the first two columns near the lower bottom of the screen are red. You can create a large bonus by connecting them.

Level Nine

Unlike the other levels, begin this one with the outer, taller blocks and work your way inward.

Level Ten

All of the dice on this level are the same height. Depending on what the first color is, position this with the color. If there is no visible color, place it towards the edge.

Level Eleven

Again, all of the dice are the same height. Take the advice used on level ten.
