Faerie Bubbles pop if you get three of the same type together, and it's up to you to clear each level by popping all of them. Use the left and right arrow keys to move the bubble cannon and press the space bar to fire.

If you get four or more bubbles together you will set off a combo. There are three good combos and three bad combos:

Good Combos:

• Water - Destroys all water bubbles on the screen.
• Light -   Changes all bubbles touching the combo to a random colour.
• Fire -      Burns all non-water bubbles that touch the combo.

Bad Combos:

• Air -      Fills your screen with random bubbles all the way to the bottom connecting air bubble. 
• Earth - Makes a new line of bubbles appear.
• Dark -  All the bubbles in the combo will turn to random types.

The fewer shots you use in each level, the higher your score will be. Clear the screen by connecting 3 or more bubbles of the same type and proceed to the next level. Beat all the levels of the game to get a special bonus (extra 200 points).

There are  two types of special bubbles that help clear the screen:

Nova Bubble - The Nova bubble will destroy a random number of bubbles near the bubble it touches.

Rainbow Bubble - This bubble can change to the same colour as the bubble it touches first. Be careful if you shoot the bubble somewhere it touches two different coloured bubbles because it can change to either one.

If you need to stop the game, stop the music, or re-start, click on the little X on the top left of the screen.

Tips to Win

• Practice your angles on the first level when you have your arrow showing you where to fire. You'll eventually learn where things fall and bounce into place.
• Avoid burning good bubbles. Get rid of the three types of bubbles that have bad combos (air, earth, dark) so that there is less chance you will get those combos.
• Aim nova bubbles at the top of the screen. If it pops the section holding the column of bubbles to the top of the screen, all the bubbles underneath will fall.
• On the higher levels, don't be afraid of using the slumberberry, Stardust, bubbles and Faerieland cheats. These will help you on level 20 especially.
• Avoid chaining dark bubbles, they reset your entire chain and sometimes they create multiple air/earth bubbles which are a pain to deal with.Learn to chain several fire bubbles together at the top of a screen, it burns everything beneath it.
• If a row of light bubbles are next to another row of good bubbles, the good bubbles will turn to a bad color.  Try to avoid setting off the light combo before the other good combo if you can.

Cheats and Fun Stuff:

• slumberberry - Sets your bubbles back to the top of the screen - handy if you're running out of space
• bubbles - Sets all your bubbles to the same color. This can be good or bad depending on the type of color you get. It is random!
• stardust - Gives you a nova bubble
• faerieland - Gives you a rainbow bubble
• Click the round fire dot in the second b in bubbles to have Olli appear on screen.

             
             
           

To receive the avatar you have to successfully submit a score of 2000 points or more. A score of 2300 and above is generally the average to gain the trophy.
